Who We Are
Since its formation in 1998, Southeast MA NEMBA has been a dedicated chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association, committed to building a thriving mountain biking community. Our members include riders of all skill levels, united by a shared passion for adventure, trails, and giving back to the outdoor spaces we love.
What We Do
We build, maintain, and enhance sustainable trails, ensuring they remain accessible and enjoyable for all. Our chapter organizes exciting events like the Blue Hills Opener, the Adams Farm Summer Funride & Cookout, and the infamous Turkey Afterburner, along with group rides and skill-building sessions. We also provide resources for education, safety, and advocacy to foster responsible riding and trail stewardship.
Where We Operate
Located Southeast of Boston, we work on trails across the region, including iconic locations like F. Gilbert Hills State Forest in Foxboro and Wrentham, Wompatuck State Park, Hale Education and Noanet Woodlands, Blue Hills, Cutler Park, and the Ames Nowell State Park. Our efforts extend to collaborating with the MA DCR, towns, and preservation groups to promote mountain biking recreation throughout the community.
Why We Do It
We believe in the power of mountain biking to connect people to nature, foster camaraderie, and promote healthy living. Our mission is to create a positive impact—both on the trails we love and within the community we serve. Through our work, we hope to inspire more people to experience the joy and adventure of mountain biking.
