South Central MA NEMBA is a community of mountain bikers committed to the creation and preservation of sustained, responsible, trail usage and access in Massachusetts. Through partnerships with the local community, trail builders, land managers, and businesses, SCMA NEMBA seeks to provide greater access to mountain biking through led group rides, free skills clinics, trail maintenance days, and ongoing events and education.
Here is our 2025 Calendar, come back in the spring for more details on our Adventure Series Ride, trip to Thunder Mountain, and mini-tour of Bike Borderlands. Once the new event module is built out on nemba.org these events will be built out with full details including directions, parking locations, and contact information. We can't wait to see you on the trails!
SCMA NEMBA 2025 Group Rides & Events
All group rides will have a minimum of an A and B group with leads and sweeps.
Depending on the number of attendees and rider skill level, our B group typical breaks into a B+/B/C clusters. It is advised that you do not join the A group on your first group ride as it is high paced, no stops.
B/C groups are no drop and perfect for socializing, skill building, and getting to know the trails in our area.
After our Thursday Night Rides, we typically have a post-ride social in Sturbridge. While these post ride hangouts may be at a local brewery, we encourage everyone to attend as there are always NA options available. Our goal is to be inclusive for all and building our community is priority number one!
