Description
Woody Hill is the common name for three parcels of preserved land in Bradford RI. The Woody Hill Management Area and Westerly Municiaple Land Trust being the largest.
RI NEMBA was asked to develop trails in this area late in 2017. By the spring of 2018 over 20 miles of susatinable trails had been created.
My introduction to the area came on an RI NMBA fun ride. The trails are awesome. Well laid out, lots of hills, some technical features, some flowey singletracks, but overall a well laid out challenging system.
The best place to park is at the Soccer fields on Bradford Road. From there ride to the tree line at the back of the fields to the right and you'll see trails heading into the woods.
Expect to climb, expect to encounter some very interesting trails and expect to smile a lot.
