Kevin will lead the intermediate ride which is typically about 10-12 miles of single and double track in under 2 hours, and terrain frequently includes roots and rock gardens depending on the route.
Jean will lead the strong novice ride which is typically about 5-8 miles of single and double track in under 2 hours, and terrain will include roots and rocks but the route will be tailored for a strong novice rider.
*** Please pre-sign our super easy once-a-year Ride Waiver before you arrive:
For those who have never been to Bear Brook State Park, it's one of the largest state parks in NH and is full of super awesome single track! Since this is such a large park, we will make sure every rider stays with the group and nobody gets lost.
The turn from Deerfield Rd onto Podunk Rd is next to a small cemetery and is easy to miss. Once you are on Podunk Rd, go past the booth and the hiker-biker lot entrance is on the right and across from some park service buildings.
Things to bring:
- Extra tube/patch kit
- Master link for chain repair
- Optional: headlamp (just in case)
Please follow along on the Southern NH NEMBA Facebook Group for any ride updates/cancellations.
Any questions on the ride, please contact the ride leader.
