Sat. June 2, Shepaug Dam , Southbury, All levels ride & Picnic, 10am

Join us at Shepaug Dam Recreation Area for all levels ride and picnic afterwards. We 'll be looking for Waldo along the way!

                             If you find him, you may get a prize ( or not!) .

Arrowed loop. approx. 7 miles ( if you want more mileage, add in a reverse loop ). We’ll supply the burgers and dogs. There is no charge, but please bring a salad or dessert to share.

We are accepting donations to help us buy supplies for trail work.We will also be accepting memberships $35 for individual and $45 for families ( cash or exact change only please).

Directions: Shepaug Hydro Station 2225 River Rd, Southbury, CT 06488 ( Recreation area is on the left after you drive through the gate.)

Housatonic Valley NEMBA is building trails at the Rockhouse Hill Sanctuary

HV NEMBA has won a $10,000 NEMBA SIgnature Trail Grant. We will be using this money to greatly enhance the trail system at Rockhouse.

These Trail Building sessions will result in a BIG return. 

Meet at 8:30 am at the end of Perkins Rd. , the nearest cross road is Moose Hill Rd.  

After we have finished our work, we will go for a ride ( bring your bike ).

All are invited. Bring work gloves, snack, bug spray and water. We provide the tools.

Lets Build more Trails at Trolley!

Housatonic Valley NEMBA has scheduled another trail work day at the Trolley Property in Woodbuty.

Meet eet on Old Woodbury Rd at 9:00 AM to help finish "Off Your Trolley".  We should be done by 12:30.

Bring your Bike, we'll ride after the trail work.

All you need is a good pair of gloves and workboots. A leaf rake or some loppers would be good too.

Heads up for Wed. Feb. 21st at Class Cycles located at 77 Main St N Suite 105, Southbury, CT 06488

At 6:30 we will have 2 short presentations for the public. "Fat Biking in the Winter", and "So You Want to try Mountain Biking". I'll show some fun videos of fat biking and will talk about where to go and what you need to get started ( hey- not much!).

For the second subject, I 'll discuss the upcoming spring beginner skills clinics and everything you need to know to get on that fun single track.

The presentations will be followed by a NEMBA meeting. All are invited to stay for the meeting- we love your input!
