Description

Ahern State Park is a 128-acre state protected area in Laconia on Lake Winnisquam in New Hampshire's Lakes Region.

It is open year-round and offers hiking, non-motorized boating, biking, and fishing.

It features 3,500 feet of lake shoreline. 

There's lots of singletrack. No major climbs, some flowy trails but mostly technical.

Many interesting features, lakeside views and challenging rock drops and short technical climbs.

In the summer bring your bathing suit as this is right off the water

Depending on the loop you take ride is anywhere from 5 to 7 miles to do it all.

FYI there are more trails to the South than the onsite state map shows.

Parking: NH 106 in Laconia to Right Way Path, then onto Ahern Park Rd.

Parking lot is down on either side of the road past the first gate.

Main trail head is on the left, a small technical singletrack loop is on the right.
