Description
At 5300 acres Manuel F. Correllus State Fores occupys a large portion of the center of Martha's Vineyard.

The dirt trails include miles of wide fire roads and some singletrack trails.
In addition the forest hosts a disc golf course.
In season there is hunting at Manuel F. Correllus. But not on Sundays.
At the time of this writing the trail system is undergoing renovations and an updated map will be posted when the work is completed.
The forest surrounds the Martha's Vineyard airport on three sides. The airport was carved out of the forest during World War II for an auxillary Naval air facility.
