Description
The Wayne F. MacAllum Wildlife Management Area in Westborough is a 900 acre property in the town of Westborough.
There are about 18 miles of trails there.
Unusual for this area the trails are mostly flat and relatively rock free. Which makes it a perfect place for family rides or to introduce newer riders to the sport.
In the winter it's a great place to corss country ski.
Many of the trails offer scenic views of lakes and fields. While others dive deep into the woods.
A few trails, notably the ones surrounding the feed lots get overgrown by mid summer.
During Massachusett hunting season the the WMA sees a lot of hunters.
It shoud be noted that Massachusetts does not allow hunting on Sundays.
You'll spend a lot of time exploring MacAllum's mellow trails. And you will be back.
