This course is perfect for riders, trail enthusiasts, land stewards and land managers interested in learning about what makes for sustainable, enjoyable trails and how to take care of them.

The course will include classroom presentations on the best practices of trail building and maintenance in the morning, followed by hands-on trail building clinics in the afternoon.

Coffee, snacks and lunch will be included, and there will also be an option to purchase IMBA's trail building textbook, IMBA Trail Solutions.

The cost is $20. Please bring a check or cash for $40 if you wish to purchase IMBA's book, Trail Solutions: IMBA's Guide to Building Sweet Singletrack. * We will need to know ahead if you want a book as we will be ordering them.

The course class room setting will take place at the Bald Mountain Community Center located at 1287 Bald Mountain Rd, Orland, ME 04472, just over the Dedham line about 20 minutes outside of Bangor.

The hands on clinics will take place on Great Pond Mountain Conservation Land Trust lands. We will be constructing some sustainable single track that is beginner friendly.
