NEMBA Ride & Advocacy Summit 2019 on the Cape
April 5-7, 2019
Hyannis MA

Registration is now closed.

Join NEMBA leaders and volunteers from all of our chapters throughout New England for a fun weekend of riding, talking about mountain biking, and NEMBA advocacy. This will be a great event to learn from fellow advocates, meet new friends, and ride some great trails while the rest of New England is still deep into winter.

We’ll kick the event off with an optional group ride Friday afternoon, have breakfast together Saturday morning, engage in various group discussion through lunch and the early afternoon, then go rides some of the best trails that the Cape has to offer in the afternoon. We’ll also have dinner together and plenty of time to hang out, network, and chill. On Sunday, we’ll continue our discussions about mountain biking in the morning and go for another ride shortly after lunch. The cost of the conference is $120 and is for current NEMBA members and their families.

Some of the topics we'll be covering are how to grow our riding community by expanding diversity, volunteerism and members. We’ll also have breakout sessions on trail politics and access issues, as well as how technology (such as online navigation, mapping, Strava, and social media is shaping mountain biking and the trails. We’ll also be making sure there’s plenty of time for networking, riding and having fun!

The conference center has a new water park, so you can feel free to bring the entire family. The CapeCodder has offered us discounted room for only $105 (double occupancy).

You can reserve your room by calling 888-297-2200. When calling, guests must identify themselves as part of the New England Mountain Bike Association in order to receive the preferred group rates.
