On Saturday, October 5, we are sponsoring our 6th volunteer trail work day of the season! We’re hoping for a big turnout. We'll need lots of help with our work projects, which will include trail maintenance and fall cleanup chores. Extra leaf blowers needed; if you own a leaf blower, please bring it to the trail work day. IMPORTANT: In addition to the info below, any additional event details will be posted on this Facebook event page so please check this page again as the date gets closer.

DATE: Saturday, October 5
MEETUP: Sugarloaf Outdoor Center
TIME: 9:00 AM to sign up and get assignments.
DURATION: Approximately 5 hours.

Please RSVP to the work day leader, Josh Tauses, at and RSVPing through this Facebook event page is a great way to let your friends know you'll be attending this event.

ACTIVITIES: Trail maintenance and fall clean-up chores.

ITEMS TO BRING: Water, sturdy gloves and footwear, safety glasses/protective eyewear, insect repellent, rain gear (just in case), lunch or snacks, your kids because this is a kid-friendly event (using only light tools), tools you may have available (leaf blowers, rakes, loppers, hand shears), cell phones so we can communicate issues that pop up, and your bike (there will be a group ride at the end of the work day, conditions permitting.)

Our friends at the Hostel of Maine have generously offered 50% off beer (same day, following the trail work) to CRNEMBA volunteers, ages 21+.
