CR NEMBA Trail Work Day

10/28/18 9:00am to 2:00pm

Postponed due to weather conditions.

On SUNDAY, October 28, we are sponsoring another Volunteer Trail Work Day. We’re hoping for a big turnout. We'll need lots of help with our work projects, which will include trail maintenance and fall cleanup chores. Extra leaf blowers needed; if you own a leaf blower, please bring it to the trail work day.

DATE: Sunday, October 28.
MEETUP: Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to sign up and get assignments
DURATION: Approximately 5 hours, or sooner if the work is done.

Please RSVP to the work day leader, Josh Tauses, at Be sure to let your friends know you'll be attending the event.

ACTIVITIES: Projects will include trail maintenance and fall clean-up chores.

ITEMS TO BRING: Water, sturdy gloves and footwear, rain gear (just in case), lunch or snacks, your kids because this is a kid-friendly event (using only light tools), tools you may have available (such as loppers, hand saws, leaf rakes, and leaf blowers), safety glasses/protective eyewear, ear protection for leaf blowing and cell phones so we can communicate issues that pop up.

Our trail work days are open to people of all ages and abilities. All that is required is enthusiasm and a willingness to work together; our club provides direction, tools, and work project locations. We need your help maintaining the beautiful trail network in Carrabassett Valley. Please join us. Trail work days are always fun and productive!
