8/29/18 (All day)
It's not a regular TNT (Tuesday Night Trail work), so for those of you who have had work/scheduling conflicts, but are dying to get your hands dirty (and your conscience guilt-free), the ladies of Central Maine (and beyond) now have the opportunity to "adopt" a section of trail at Mt. Apatite- currently undergoing a major single track make-over thanks to the NEMBA Signature grant.
Under the expert guidance of a couple of local trail gnomes, we will be working on a much needed re-route of 'Gretel' around that stinky, sloppy puddle. The plan is for us to extend both ends of the trail by at least half a mile. Tools will be provided, so just bring a 'can do' attitude, your muscle, bug spray and gloves (this is totally a trail dog friendly event too).
What is your ROI (return on investment)? Hang in the woods with fun friends, be part of building and improving some local trail we all love to ride, assuage your guilt from not being able to attend other regularly scheduled trail events, be entered into a raffle for a sweet Liv MIPS helmet.
Oh yeah, and there will be a 'happy hour cooler' available.
We meet on Mt Apatite Road at 5:30 and be done by 7:30.
