Your donation will help shape the future of our sport.
We have 22 active chapters, with new chapters coming online soon. We're growing every day, and we're increasing our capacity to give back to the trails. No matter where you are, you'll be able to find some great people with whom to ride. There are dozens and dozens of events taking place each week, and lots of ways for you to get involved.
Build. Ride. Repeat! This year we put on over 140 trail days and held over 1000 mountain bike rides. For the first time ever, our regional trail building school at Highland Mountain Bike Park included mechanized trail building, something we'll be seeing a lot more of in the years to come. We also debuted NEMBA TrailFests this year, and we believe that these 'work hard/play harder' weekends of trail building, camping and riding will become even more popular next season.
There are now so many communities that want NEMBA to come build trails that we are looking for ways to maximize our trail building capacity, and we hope to launch a professional trail crew in 2013.
But, while NEMBA has made significant impacts in having mountain biking respected and included in recreational mix on public lands, there are still anti-mountain bike extremists who wish us banned from the trails. We need you to help us stay strong and keep vigilant so that we can protect your right to ride.
