Having a NEMBA chapter in your area before a crisis or threat to your riding is critical since it gives mountain bikers a voice and a face while developing a rapport with your land managers and the local trail community. As an umbrella organization, NEMBA has the resources to let you and your fellow bikers get up and running as a NEMBA chapter quickly and hassle-free. The regional organization handles most of the administrative tasks and lets the chapters focus on what's really important–riding and saving the trails.
